Undercuts on the upper model are blocked out using wax, especially in the 56/- palatal area to protect the bridge. Also a light wax relief is placed over the biopsy site.

Adams clasps 6/6 are then fabricated in 0.7mm S.S wire.

Strips of wax are used to block out / box out the upper model as shown prior to soaking for 10 minutes, spraying the base plate with cold cure acrylic and cured in a hydro flask to the manufacturer's instructions.

Once cured, the dressing plate is boiled free of wax, removed from the model and trimmed up in the usual way using a variety of trimming and smoothing burs.
