URA with Labial Bow in 0.8mm S.S wire and prosthetic 2/-.

The undercuts on the upper working model are waxed out and the Adams clasps are fabricated in 0.7mm S.S wire on the 6/6.

A light wax relief may be placed in the 'U' loop area of the labial bow to create an instant space between the soft tissues and the labial wire.

The lateral is then trimmed and positioned with wax as shown.

The labial bow 3/3 is then fabricated in 0.8mm S.S wire.

The stops are fabricated in 0.8mm S.S wire and positioned as shown, ensuring that the tips of the stops do not show through the labial surface of the upper working model.

A strip of wax is placed around the upper working model as shown to concentrate the cold cure acrylic in one area during the spraying process.

The model soaked for 10 minutes and sprayed as shown using pink denture cold cure acrylic around the lateral area.

The rest of the base plate is sprayed in the usual method and cured to the manufacturer's instructions using a hydro flask.

The cured appliance is boiled free of wax, trimmed and polished in the usual method.
