Upon returning to the laboratory, the upper and lower models are mounted on a plaster-less articulator and a lower try-in fabricated to the clinician's instructions.

The full lower try-in is set up to the clinician's instructions and returned to the clinic for the try-in. It was requested that the technician initially set up the lower left 1 - 6 and the lower right 3 - 1 and leave an occlusal block on the lower right posterior section. This particular patient had had extensive lower mucosal surgery and a skin graft.

After the first try-in it was requested that the lower left 6 be removed and the lower right 6 - 4 be positioned as the upper occlusion allowed.

The second completed full lower try-in prior to being returned to the clinic for try-in.

This second try-in was deemed accurate by the clinician and the laboratory was requested to go to finish.

The full lower implant retained try-in is flasked in the usual method. Note the clear heat cured base plate with implant abutments is retained.

The finished full lower implant retained denture - trimmed and polished.
